Runway Ghana International set to introduce Tema as the newest Fashion Destination in Ghana

RUNWAY GHANA- PRESS RELEASE



Tema is  the newest fashion and trendiest destination in Ghana. The city has been named by Runway Ghana as the destination to host the much anticipated event.





Runway Ghana International,  an International Fashion event created by Junda Morris-Kennedy and produced by franchise holder BT Model Agency is set to turn Tema into a fashion hub this year.

Runway International Brand is own by U.S. based production company JMK Production LLC. The company is set to plan major events all across Africa.





Runway Ghana International Showcase serves as a collaborative catwalk and exhibition, highlighting the industry’s established and emerging Ghanaian and International designers.

Runway Ghana, aims to create opportunities for emerging designers and the creative industry of Ghana. Through innovative programs regarding business and brand development.

It is also a multifaceted event established to promote the social, cultural and economic development initiatives of Ghana to a global audience through fashion and entertainment.

It aims at reaching a global audience through fashion and entertainment. It would serve as a platform for fashion shows and exhibitions.





Slated for the 25 March, 2017 at T Havana Tema community 9, its on the theme: "Branding and Empowering  of the Modeling Industry in Ghana".
Time: 7pm prompt.







Notable designers includes  top Ghanaian- US based designer's collection , L'Amour Ameer (USA ), Gavachy designs (Ghana ), Morrez fashion (Ghana ), Kyeradegh men's and shoes collection (Ghana ), Akimidiz collection (Ghana ), KK creation (Ghana ), Lordkay klassics (Ghana ), CV Cstevens (Ghana ), Kiki collection (Togo), Paap Ngaala fashion (Senegal ), Queens leather collection (Ghana ), BT outfit (Ghana ), Floral fashion (Benin ), Bri Wireduah (Ghana ) and many more

The event would also promote music from Ghana and USA, with the likes of Award Winning artist, Scientific, 2 switt from Sierra Leone, Ghana's talented artist D Crime the general and many more...





The event will also honor Ian Wordi (a top Ghanian Male Model ) and the President of Models Union Ghana Asociation (MODUGA ) Madam Lilian Hinson Asare.

The Event Director of Runway Ghana, Comfort Ampaabeng said we will be nominating a model within the Ghana fashion industry as the face of the brand Runway Ghana. Miss Ampaabeng said that the  face would represent Ghana at USA for Runway Liberia and be mentored by Dominique Joy Thomson, a USA top model.




JMK Productions LLC is a fashion event production company who has produce’s events such as Dayton Fashion Week, African International Modeling Competition, National Miss Ebony USA Pageant, Fashion Show for Liberian Embassy in Washington, DC Independence Celebration, Miss Liberia USA Pageant,Black History Month Fashion Explosion and many more.
