Owned by Liberian native Mazoe Anderson a collegiate Basketball Athlete and a former U.S. Army Soilder. Anderson love for basketball and nice tennis shoe drove her to start the business.
She played AAU Basketball through high school and went on to Lynchburg College with scholarship for basketball. Left college early got married , started a family, and entered military where once again was given leadership roles a chance to play basketball on the Army team which was cut short by an ambush exercise while serving active duty.
She left military as a young, single mother with every intention to 1 day own her own business. She started the journey by going back to school. Earning various degrees to include AA in Computer Science, BS Technical Management, MS Project Management and International Business. After 25 years in IT retired and wanted to focus on hobbies.
Ended up going to a sneaker trade show where she sold all sneakers before show started and had a Eureka moment. And hence KICKZABLAZE was born.
